Shopify App Developer

Consecutive Bytes is a growing tech company delivering scalable digital solutions for e-commerce businesses worldwide. We are seeking a skilled Shopify App Developer to join our team and contribute to building robust, high-performance applications for the Shopify ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify apps (public and private).
• Integrate third-party APIs and services with Shopify stores.
• Optimize performance, security, and scalability of apps.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, project managers, and QA teams.
• Stay up-to-date with Shopify API changes, Liquid templates, and best practices.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Shopify App Development (custom/private/public apps).
• Proficiency in Node.js, PHP (preferred stack: PHP).
• Familiarity with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, and GraphQL.
• Experience with Liquid templates and Shopify themes.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS.
• Understanding of database systems (MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL).
• Experience with OAuth, webhooks, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React or Next.js for Shopify embedded apps.
• Familiarity with Shopify Polaris design system.
• Knowledge of app publishing process on Shopify App Store.
