Shopify App Developer

We are seeking a skilled Shopify App Developer to build a high-quality Shopify application that integrates interactive media and widgets into storefront pages using theme extensions, app embeds, and script integrations. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in Shopify app development, API integrations, and creating smooth merchant-facing experiences.

This role includes developing the app backend, merchant dashboard, and storefront embedding features.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify App Development

• Develop secure and scalable Shopify apps using Node.js, Express, MongoDB or similar backend technologies.
• Implement Shopify OAuth, session handling, and billing.
• Integrate Shopify Admin API and Storefront API for managing store data.
• Build clean, responsive dashboards for merchants to upload and manage videos/media/widgets.

Storefront Integration

• Build and manage Shopify theme extensions, app embeds, and script tags.
• Develop custom Liquid components, video sections, and interactive widgets.
• Ensure all widgets are fast, mobile-responsive, and compatible with Online Store 2.0 and older themes.

Front-End Development

• Create dynamic UI components using React.js (preferred) or JavaScript.
• Implement video rendering, galleries, sliders, and other interactive elements.
• Optimize performance to minimize impact on storefront loading speed.

Testing & Delivery

• Perform cross-browser, mobile, and multi-theme testing.
• Debug issues across Shopify admin, storefront, and backend.
• Prepare documentation and support merchants during integration.

Required Skills & Experience

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Shopify app development.
• Strong understanding of:
• Shopify App (public/custom) development
• OAuth flow and session tokens
• Shopify Admin API (REST & GraphQL)
• Theme Extensions & App Embeds
• Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• React.js (preferred)
• Webhooks, ScriptTags, Metafields
• Experience developing dashboards for media/content management.
• Familiarity with video processing, CDN usage, or media optimization (a plus).

Bonus Skills (Not Mandatory)

• Experience embedding interactive components (videos, galleries, reels, sliders).
• Knowledge of Polaris and App Bridge.
• Understanding of JS widget performance optimization.
• Experience with AWS, Cloudinary, or similar media hosting tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs150,000.00 per month
