About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Shopify Team Lead to guide and mentor our development team while managing end-to-end Shopify projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.

Preference will be given to candidates from Mohali or nearby locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Shopify developers
• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Oversee conversion of UI/UX designs into responsive, high-performance storefronts
• Manage third-party app integrations, APIs, webhooks, and payment gateways
• Review code, ensure quality standards, and manage Git/GitHub version control
• Coordinate with design, product, and client teams for project delivery
• Optimize store speed, SEO, and Core Web Vitals
• Troubleshoot and resolve theme, integration, and performance issues
• Stay updated with Shopify’s advanced features—Shopify Plus, Hydrogen, headless commerce, etc.
• Ensure timely delivery and project management tracking

Required Skills and Experience

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Shopify development
• Strong command of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
• Proven experience leading a team or owning project delivery
• Experience with Shopify APIs (REST/GraphQL), third-party app integrations, and custom apps
• Solid understanding of SEO, responsive design, accessibility, and modern front-end practices
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub
• Strong problem-solving ability, communication, and client-handling skills
