Shopify Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Shopify Developer to join our team and help us build high-performing, visually appealing, and conversion-optimized Shopify stores. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Shopify theme development, Liquid programming, Shopify apps, and front-end web technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, themes, and apps.
• Implement new features, enhancements, and custom functionalities using Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, UI/UX issues, and third-party app conflicts.
• Build and integrate custom sections, metafields, and theme settings within Shopify 2.0.
• Work with APIs, webhooks, and headless/Storefront API when needed.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and project managers to implement pixel-perfect pages.
• Set up and customize Shopify apps (reviews, upsell, bundles, CRM, email marketing, subscriptions, etc.).
• Ensure mobile-first designs, responsive layouts, and accessibility standards.
• Maintain version control using Git (optional but preferred).
• Conduct QA testing before launch and ensure smooth deployment.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong expertise in Shopify theme development and Liquid.
• Solid front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify Dawn-based or custom themes.
• Understanding of Shopify ecosystem, APIs, metafields, and app integrations.
• Ability to create custom Shopify sections, CTAs, offer banners, dynamic tables, etc.
• Knowledge of speed optimization, schema setup, and SEO fundamentals.
• Experience in debugging and handling cross-browser compatibility.
• Good understanding of UX principles and CRO-friendly development.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Experience with React/Vue for headless storefronts.
• Experience with Shopify Checkout Extensibility & Shopify Functions.
• Knowledge of Figma/Adobe XD to Shopify conversions.
• Basic knowledge of PHP or Node.js (optional).
• Experience integrating payment gateways and shipping APIs.

Pay: ₹210,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
