Shopify Developer (Mid-Level) - Onsite Lahore

Latency Studio is hiring a mid-level Shopify Developer for our Wapda Town office in Lahore. This is an onsite role only.

We build fast, well crafted Shopify stores for brands that care about detail. No two weeks look the same. New project, new stack quirks, new problem to solve. If you like work that keeps moving and hate doing the same build twice, you will fit in here.

Responsibilities:

• Build and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Convert Figma designs into pixel accurate, fast loading storefronts
• Work with Shopify apps, integrations and custom solutions when no app fits
• Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals and conversion focused UX
• Debug complex theme and app issues independently
• Collaborate directly with designers and project leads

Requirements:

• 2+ years of hands on Shopify development experience
• Strong command of Liquid, JavaScript and responsive CSS
• Comfortable with Git, browser dev tools and reading existing codebases
• Strong problem solving ability. Much of our work has no documented answer
• Good written and spoken English for direct client communication
• A university degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field is a strong plus

Preferred:

• Experience with Shopify Online Store 2.0, sections and metaobjects
• Familiarity with headless setups, Hydrogen or Shopify APIs
• Strong eye for design and spacing detail
• Experience on international or ecommerce heavy projects
