Shopify Intern

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated Shopify Intern to join our e-commerce and development team. The ideal candidate will assist in building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify stores ensuring a smooth user experience and appealing storefront design. This internship will provide hands on exposure to Shopify development, theme customization, app integration, and store optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in setting up and customizing Shopify stores for clients and internal projects.
• Work on Shopify themes — editing Liquid, HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as required.
• Support the integration of third-party Shopify apps and APIs.
• Help maintain product listings, collections, tags, and navigation structure.
• Optimize store design for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure consistent brand experience.
• Assist in troubleshooting store issues and testing functionality before deployment.
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, apps, and best practices.

Requirements:

• Basic understanding of Shopify platform and dashboard.
• Familiarity with Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of e-commerce workflows, including products, checkout, and payments.
• Knowledge of Shopify themes, customization, and responsive design.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Skills (Plus Point):

• Experience with Shopify apps, API, or plugin customization.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and conversion rate optimization.
• Understanding of graphic design tools (e.g., Figma, Canva, Photoshop) for product visuals.
