Shopify Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Manager to oversee the operations, optimization, and performance of our Shopify Plus online store. This onsite role is responsible for managing the full e-commerce lifecycle, including backend configuration, product and content management, inventory accuracy, promotional setup, and analytics.

The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Shopify, strong technical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence across the platform. You’ll take ownership of our Shopify store, lead growth marketing efforts, and connect systems across ads, email, and front-end experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Platform Management

• Manage and maintain all Shopify Plus backend settings and configurations
• Create and execute promotions, bundles, discount codes, and site updates
• Troubleshoot platform, theme, and app-related issues
• Collaborate with marketing and fulfillment teams to support campaigns and launches

Product & Content Management

• Oversee product uploads, variants, pricing, and digital assets
• Ensure accurate and optimized product titles, descriptions, SEO fields, and tags
• Maintain consistent and logical site navigation and product categorization
• Conduct routine product and content audits to ensure accuracy and quality

Inventory & Fulfillment Oversight

• Maintain accurate inventory levels within Shopify and connected systems
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure stock accuracy
• Monitor third-party integrations and syncing tools for real-time updates
• Identify and resolve discrepancies to prevent overselling or stock errors

Analytics & Performance

• Track key metrics including sales, conversion rates, traffic, and return rates
• Prepare regular performance reports for leadership
• Identify trends and recommend data-driven improvements to enhance site performance
• Recommend tools, apps, and workflow enhancements to improve efficiency
• Support digital marketing initiatives and seasonal e-commerce planning

Qualifications

Required

• Minimum 5 years of experience managing Shopify or Shopify Plus stores
• Advanced understanding of Shopify backend operations, apps, and integrations
• Strong proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities

Preferred

• Experience in food, retail, or consumer packaged goods e-commerce
• Familiarity with Shopify apps, automation tools, and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of Klaviyo or similar email marketing platforms
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and digital marketing practices

Job Type: Full-time
