Shopify Specialist

We are a Broward-based audio equipment manufacturer and e-commerce multi-channel seller. We are looking for a South Florida-based candidate with previous Shopify/Shopify Plus experience to be our Shopify Specialist in producing scalable software solutions. Ideally, we seek a problem-solver with additional complementary skills valuable in a busy e-commerce environment, such as SEO, Digital Marketing, Omnichannel Architecture/Management, or Analytics. The successful candidate will already be based in South Florida and willing to oversee, coordinate, complement, support, maintain, and integrate our websites and related systems, processes, and applications.

Responsibilities

• This position requires a strong understanding of the Shopify platform, e-commerce management, and digital marketing strategies to maintain the online store and enhance customer engagement effectively.
• Maintain the e-commerce Shopify store, including product database management.
• Customize and optimize Shopify themes and templates.
• Manage and implement Shopify plugins and integrations.
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the Shopify platform.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize user experience and conversions.
• Perform regular website audits and maintenance tasks.
• Develop and implement new features to enhance shopping experience.
• Analyze and report on key ecommerce metrics.
• Edit and optimize product listings, landing pages, and catalog pages as requested by either the Product Manager or Marketing Manager.
• Adjust product pricing and pricing displays for promotional needs.
• Add new features to our websites using PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Select and maintain key Shopify tools and applications for the attainment of Ecommerce and Marketing goals.
• Complete periodical tasks related to SEO, Product Reviews, Web Security and Firewall.
• Produce periodical Sales and Web Traffic reports.
• Perform other related duties as needed when requested.
• Perform tests, troubleshoot software, and fix bugs
• Collaborate with other departments on projects and sprints

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Liquid, theme customization, and data model (WooCommerce platform experience is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of the Shopify platform, themes, and plugins.
• Experience updating, maintaining, and debugging Shopify/Shopify Plus websites.
• Experience optimizing landing pages, A/B testing, and using Analytics and marketing automation tools. In addition, Google Ads and/or Google Analytics experience is a big plus.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience applying SEO principles.
