We are expanding our network of technical experts and are looking for a skilled Shopify Speed Optimization Expert to handle project-based assignments focused on improving Shopify store performance.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced professional specializing in Shopify website speed optimization. The ideal candidate must have strong technical skills, a deep understanding of Shopify’s architecture, and hands-on experience improving Core Web Vitals and overall page load speed.

This is a freelance, project-based remote role, ideal for individuals who want flexible work and consistent project flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Shopify store speed audits and identify areas for performance improvement
• Optimize Liquid code, JavaScript, CSS, theme files, and unused apps
• Improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, FID, CLS) to meet Google performance standards
• Optimize images, fonts, and third-party scripts for faster loading
• Provide detailed before-and-after speed reports (Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse)
• Work closely with our team to deliver high-quality, timely results
• Ensure optimization does not affect functionality or UI/UX

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Shopify speed optimization
• Strong understanding of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, Lighthouse, and other performance tools
• Ability to identify and fix render-blocking resources, unused code, heavy apps, and theme bottlenecks
• Experience improving mobile and desktop performance
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to deliver results within the given project timeline

Compensation

• PKR 5,000 – 10,000 per project (depending on complexity and scope)
