Shopify Theme developer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Shopify Theme Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify themes to deliver fast, responsive, and visually appealing e-commerce experiences. You will collaborate with the design, development, and marketing teams to ensure high-quality store functionality aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and enhance Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement fully responsive and mobile-optimized designs across all devices.
• Integrate third-party apps, APIs, and custom functionalities as required.
• Convert Figma/Adobe XD UI/UX designs into fully functional Shopify themes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve theme-related issues, including performance and UI/UX problems.
• Write clean, structured, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Optimize site performance, loading speed, and SEO structure.
• Stay updated with Shopify platform updates, theme standards, and best development practices.

Requirements

• 6 months to 1 year of proven experience as a Shopify APP Developer or Front-End Developer.
• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
• Hands-on experience building and customizing Shopify themes from scratch.
• Good understanding of Shopify APIs, app integrations, and custom scripting.
• Familiarity with Git/version control is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with Shopify Plus.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce.
• Understanding of modern UI/UX principles.
• Experience with page builders such as PageFly, Shogun, or GemPages.
• Shopify App Development experience will be considered a strong plus.
