Shopify & Webflow Developer - Night Shift

Fission Tech is seeking a talented Shopify & Webflow developer. The ideal applicant will be passionate about developing scalable, cutting-edge solutions and possess a solid history in web development and excels in conversion rate optimization, migrations, troubleshooting, automation, and theme customization. Responsibilities:

• Integrate third-party systems, APIs, and services with the CMS platform to enable seamless data exchange and interoperability.
• Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive websites on Webflow and Shopify platforms
• Create custom plugins, modules, and extensions to enhance the functionality and capabilities of the CMS platform.
• Optimize CMS performance, scalability, and security through code refactoring, caching mechanisms, and other techniques.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create custom themes, optimize code for performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement feature enhancements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Shopify Development, including Theme Customization and Liquid Programming
• Experience with Webflow development, responsive design, and web animations
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks
• Knowledge of Shopify APIs, integration with third-party tools, and e-commerce workflows
• Problem-solving skills for debugging and troubleshooting technical issues
• Understanding of UI/UX principles and conversion rate optimization
• Experience in optimizing site speed and performance
• Excellent time management and the ability to work independently
• Familiarity with SEO best practices is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Portfolio showcasing past Webflow and Shopify projects is preferred
