Short-Form Motion Graphics Video Editor (German Language Content)

We're looking for a talented Short-Form Motion Graphics Editor to join our team on an ongoing, freelance basis.

You'll be editing vertical short-form videos (YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, TikTok) for German-language channels. This is not basic cut-and-caption work — we need someone who can bring energy, polish, and visual storytelling through motion graphics.

What You'll Be Doing

Creating 30–90 second short-form videos with dynamic motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and visual effects. Working from provided scripts, voiceovers, and asset packs. Matching the tone, pacing, and branding of each channel. Delivering consistent, high-quality edits on a recurring weekly basis.

What We're Looking For

Proficiency in After Effects, Premiere Pro, or equivalent (CapCut Pro also accepted if your output quality is high). Strong motion graphics skills — kinetic typography, animated overlays, transitions, lower thirds, visual storytelling elements. Experience editing short-form vertical content specifically. Native or fluent-level understanding of German (you need to understand the script/VO to time edits properly). A decent portfolio showing real short-form work with motion graphics — not just cuts and captions. Reliable, communicative, and able to hit deadlines without hand-holding.

Bonus Points For

Experience with faceless YouTube content or explainer-style videos. Familiarity with AI-generated voiceover workflows. Ability to source or create simple stock/graphic assets as needed. Speed — we value editors who can turn around quality work quickly.

Compensation

Per-video payment, discussed based on experience and portfolio quality. Consistent weekly volume for the right person — this is not a one-off gig.
