About the Role

Reelax Media Limited is hiring a creative and detail-oriented Short-Form Video Editor to produce high-retention content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, hooks, and modern social media trends, and can convert raw footage into engaging short-form videos.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit talking-head, podcast, and social media content into engaging short-form videos
• Add captions, animated text, motion graphics, and visual effects
• Apply jump cuts, zoom-ins, pacing adjustments, and dynamic framing
• Incorporate b-roll, sound effects, music, and relevant memes
• Maintain consistent brand style and platform-optimized layouts
• Export videos correctly for TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience with Adobe Premiere Pro & After Effects
• Strong understanding of short-form storytelling and viewer retention
• Experience with captions, presets, templates, and sound design
• Have excellent understanding of script reading
• Knowledge of colour grading using Lumetri
• Ability to edit in multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9)
• Motion graphics experience (After Effects must have)
• Good English communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience editing business, motivational, or podcast content
• Familiarity with viral content trends and social media storytelling

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a short motion-graphics storytelling assessment.
