Showroom Sales & Design Associate

Ciot is seeking a motivated, self-driven Showroom Sales & Design Associate to join our Detroit team located in Troy, Michigan. This is a base salary plus commission sales opportunity, with total compensation ranging from $60,000 to $100,000 and significant upside for motivated sales professionals.

This position is ideal for an experienced sales professional who enjoys building relationships, generating new business, and helping customers select premium tile, stone, and surface products for residential and commercial projects. The successful candidate will have a passion for design, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while delivering an exceptional client experience.

Qualifications & Skills

• 2+ years of sales experience.
• Experience in tile, stone, flooring, countertops, interior design, or related building-material industries preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings is preferred.
• Interior design, showroom sales, or space-planning experience is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities and projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with homeowners, designers, builders, contractors, and architects.
• Generate new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and outreach.
• Assist customers in selecting products that align with their design vision, budget, and project requirements.
• Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close sales.
• Meet and exceed individual sales goals.
• Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on current design trends.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
