Shuttering Carpenter (Podgorica, Montenegro)

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and assemble timber, plywood, steel, or aluminum formwork
• Install shuttering for concrete pours according to engineering drawings
• Align, support, and secure forms to ensure correct shape and dimensions
• Dismantle formwork safely after concrete has set
• Ensure work meets safety standards and quality specifications
• Collaborate with concrete pouring teams and site supervisors
• Maintain tools, equipment, and materials

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong carpentry skills (measuring, cutting, joining)
• Ability to read construction drawings and technical plans
• Knowledge of shuttering systems and materials
• Physical strength and stamina for lifting and working at heights
• Safety awareness (working with tools, scaffolding, and concrete)

Work Environment

• Construction sites (residential, commercial, industrial)
• Outdoor conditions, sometimes at heights or in confined spaces
• Team-based environment alongside concrete workers and site engineers
