Job Title: Shuttering Carpenter (5-Year UAE Experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction drawings and layout plans.
- Measure, cut, assemble, and erect formwork using wood, plywood, steel, or aluminium systems.
- Install formwork for slabs, beams, columns, walls, staircases, and foundations.
- Ensure proper alignment, levelling, and structural stability of shuttering.
- Apply release agents to formwork to prevent concrete adhesion.
- Dismantle formwork safely after concrete curing without damaging structures.
- Maintain required dimensions, levels, and finishes as per specifications.
- Coordinate with steel fixers and site supervisors during execution.
- Inspect formwork before concrete pouring and rectify any issues.
- Follow site safety rules and quality control procedures.
- Maintain tools and ensure the cleanliness of the work area.
Requirements & Skills
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter in construction projects.
- Knowledge of different shuttering systems (wooden, steel, aluminium, MIVAN, etc.).
- Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements.
- Good understanding of formwork safety and load requirements.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights and under site conditions.
