Responsibilities

• Operate shuttle vehicles safely and efficiently to transport residents, visitors, and staff around the community and nearby locations.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met, including checking mechanical systems and fluid levels.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of shuttle vehicles to uphold a professional appearance.
• Communicate clearly with residents and team members using effective verbal skills to coordinate schedules and provide assistance as needed.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during daily operations.
• Assist with loading and unloading small packages or belongings using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks or manual tools when necessary.
• Keep accurate logs of trips, vehicle mileage, and maintenance reports to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial or shuttle driving preferred.
• Proven experience operating commercial vehicles such as buses, box trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles; familiarity with manual transmissions is a plus.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems and basic troubleshooting skills to perform routine maintenance checks.
• Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with residents and team members.
• Ability to load & unload cargo safely using equipment like pallet jacks or dollies; warehouse experience is advantageous.
• Prior experience in delivery driving, heavy haul, or route driving enhances your suitability for this role.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, load/unload light cargo, and operate vehicles for extended periods; comfort working in various weather conditions. Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
