Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope of siding work and material requirements.
• Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to prepare precise cost estimates and proposals.
• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing on materials and labor.
• Collaborate with project managers and construction teams to develop accurate project budgets and schedules.
• Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions, verify measurements, and gather additional information for accurate estimating.
• Prepare detailed bid packages, including pricing, scope of work, and contract documentation.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets and identify potential cost control opportunities.
• Assist in contract negotiations and review contractual terms related to siding projects.
• Support project management by providing timely updates on estimate status, potential risks, and opportunities for value engineering.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating, specifically within siding or exterior wall systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles, contracts, and project management processes.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup; experience with HeavyBid or similar estimating software is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with construction site operations, safety standards, and cost control strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve favorable terms.
• Hands-on experience in construction or related fields providing practical understanding of installation processes and site conditions is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills combined with a detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate estimates and successful project delivery. Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
