In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of siding on residential and commercial buildings. Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and install siding materials such as vinyl, metal, fiber cement, or stucco according to project specifications and blueprints.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to accurately perform installations and repairs.
• Read schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to determine project requirements and ensure proper alignment with design plans.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, caulking, framing, or applying insulation to ensure optimal siding adhesion and longevity.
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely while following all safety protocols on construction sites.
• Collaborate with team members including carpenters, masons, roofers, and other trades to coordinate tasks efficiently.
• Conduct quality inspections during installation to ensure siding is properly aligned, secured, and finished with attention to detail.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes for project planning and material procurement.
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, chisels, as well as power tools like drills, saws, and nail guns.
• Experience working on construction sites with a solid understanding of safety standards and protocols.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with related trades including roofing, framing carpentry, masonry, plumbing, welding, tile laying, stucco application, restoration work, metal stud framing, concrete forming, fabrication techniques, drywall finishing (trim carpentry), caulking methods, heavy lifting practices, and remodeling projects.
• Hands-on experience with construction estimating software or manual calculations for project cost assessments is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to perform demanding tasks involving lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
