Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Sign Designer to join our dynamic sign manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience creating production-ready designs for a variety of interior and exterior signage, including architectural, wayfinding, ADA-compliant, illuminated, and custom signs. The designer will collaborate closely with sales, project management, and production teams to bring the client's vision to life while ensuring accuracy and manufacturability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design custom signage layouts using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, or SignLab.
• Create scaled shop drawings, renderings, and installation diagrams.
• Prepare artwork for large-format printing, vinyl cutting, and CNC/router operations.
• Ensure compliance with ADA, municipal code, and client brand guidelines.
• Work closely with project managers, fabricators, and installers to ensure the feasibility of designs.
• Revise and update designs based on feedback from clients, sales, or production.
• Maintain organized files and accurate records for all projects.
• Design and develop graphics for a variety of signage formats, including channel letters, vinyl graphics, dimensional signs, and digital displays.
• Create production-ready artwork based on customer specifications and company standards.
• Conduct quality control on design outputs and print files.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in sign design or graphic design for the Sign Industry.
• Proficiency in design software: Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator), CorelDRAW, SignLab (is a plus).
• Understanding of sign fabrication methods, materials, and installation practices.
• Knowledge of ADA sign requirements and local sign codes is a strong advantage.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong visual/spatial design sense.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings and specifications.
• Experience with RIP software and print file preparation is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of materials used in signage (acrylic, aluminum, vinyl, etc.).
• Familiarity with ADA signage requirements and wayfinding systems.
