We are seeking a "Experienced" Sign Installation Lead to be a part of our team!
Sign Installation Lead will oversee/Install commercial sign projects, ensuring safe, accurate installation of electrical and non-electrical signage while leading a field crew. Key duties include reading blueprints, instrucural drawings, operating heavy equipment (cranes, bucket trucks, scissor lift), performing sign installations, electrical wiring, and supervising site work, often requiring 5+ years of experience.
Core Responsibilities of a Sign Installation Lead
- Team Leadership: Supervising and training installers on proper installation techniques and safety practices.
- Technical Installation: Installing marquee led message boards, channel letters, monument signs, pylon signs, plaques and vinyl graphics, adhering to building codes.
- Site Management: Reading and interpreting blueprints, site surveys, and structural drawings for accurate placement.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operating cranes, bucket trucks, forklifts, scissor, power tools
- Electrical Work: Wiring, troubleshooting, and connecting illuminated signs to power sources.
- Project Completion: Coordinating with project managers, ensuring projects are completed efficiently on schedule and on budget.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Experience: 5+ years preferred, or significant experience in electrical field work.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in welding, electrical wiring, and using tools like saws and drills.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work at heights in aerial lifts, lift heavy objects, and work in varied weather conditions.
- Licensure: Valid driver’s license
- Medical: AquireDOT medical card
