Established and rapidly growing sign company is seeking full and part time positions for sign production help. For this position you will be responsible for producing high‑quality signage and graphics using a variety of materials, tools, and equipment. This role blends hands‑on fabrication, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment. The ideal candidate is reliable, mechanically inclined, comfortable learning new production techniques, and able to work well in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sign Fabrication: Produce signs from various substrates such as aluminum, various plastics, foam, large format prints, and die-cut vinyl.
- Vinyl Application: Weed, mask, and apply vinyl graphics to substrates, vehicles, windows, and other surfaces in our shop and on location in and around Austin.
- Printing & Finishing: perform laminating, trimming, mounting, and finishing tasks.
- Assembly & Installation Prep: Cut materials, assemble sign components, prepare hardware, and package finished products.
- Quality Control: Inspect materials and finished signs for accuracy, color consistency, and craftsmanship.
- Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and perform basic equipment upkeep.
- Project Coordination: Follow work orders, meet deadlines, and communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
Qualifications
- Experience in sign production, printing, fabrication, or a related field is preferred. Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, measurements, and design files.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high‑quality work.
- Ability to lift 40–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
