Signage Designer

We’re Hiring: Signage & Wayfinding Designer
Location: Doha, Qatar or (Remote)
Salary: QAR2500-5000

We’re looking for a creative and technically skilled designer to join our team at Signmax Trading WLL — one of Qatar’s leading signage and visual communication companies.
If you can read architectural drawings, think spatially, and translate design into real-world signage, this could be your next step.

What You’ll Do
-Plan and mark signage locations on floor plans
-Create signage message schedules and typical details
-Develop final signage artwork ready for production
-Work closely with project managers and fabricators

Mandatory Trial Task
+Before submitting your CV or portfolio, you must complete a Signage & Wayfinding Design Trial Task.
"This allows us to evaluate your practical skills — saving both you and us time before interviews."

You’ll receive a floor plan and be asked to:
1️ Identify & tag signage locations
2️ Create a message schedule
3️ Prepare typical details
4️ Produce final artwork
Only completed trial tasks will be considered for shortlisting.

Who We’re Looking For
+Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, or Interior Design is a plus
+Experience in signage design is a strong advantage
Note: Even if you don’t have direct signage experience, we welcome applicants who are willing to learn and have a strong foundation in AutoCAD (mandatory).
+Basic to intermediate graphic design skills are acceptable — these can be developed along the way.
+What matters most is your technical mindset, accuracy, and eagerness to grow in this specialized field.
