Role Overview

The Silverfort Security Engineer Specialist will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and maintaining the Unified Identity Protection (UIP) platform. This role plays a critical part in protecting identity infrastructure from credential-based attacks, lateral movement, and unauthorized access by enforcing Adaptive MFA, Zero Trust policies, and continuous authentication across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Silverfort Unified Identity Protection (UIP) platform
• Integrate Silverfort with Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, and cloud identity providers
• Configure and maintain Silverfort connectors, agents, sensors, and integrations
• Deploy Silverfort MFA for:
• On-prem & cloud applications
• Legacy systems
• RDP, PowerShell, SSH, SMB traffic
• Implement Zero Trust access policies and risk-based authentication rules
• Integrate Silverfort with SIEM, SOAR, PAM tools, EDR, and ticketing systems
• Onboard critical applications, service accounts, privileged identities, and admin portals
• Monitor and respond to identity-based threats:
• Lateral movement
• Credential harvesting
• Brute-force login attempts
• Privilege misuse
• Service account anomalies
• Unauthorized access attempts
• Analyze behavioral analytics using Silverfort’s risk scoring engine
• Detect suspicious authentication activity across AD, Azure, and cloud applications
• Identify shadow admins, over-privileged accounts, and risky configurations using Silverfort mapping
• Lead and mentor team members as a Team Lead

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Silverfort platform
• Identity & Access Management (IAM) expertise
• Active Directory & Azure AD integration experience
• Zero Trust & MFA implementation
• Security monitoring & threat detection
• Leadership / Team handling experience
