Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Service Technician specialized in electronic systems to ensure all electronic work is completed efficiently and accurately. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of electronic repairs, maintenance, and installations across various equipment and systems. Duties

• Diagnose and repair electronic equipment using hand tools, schematics, and testing devices such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers
• Conduct routine maintenance on electronic systems to prevent future failures and extend equipment lifespan
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware components related to electronic systems
• Interpret technical schematics and wiring diagrams to accurately assemble or repair complex electronic assemblies
• Perform field service tasks at client sites or designated locations, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency
• Test electrical circuits with appropriate tools to identify faults or irregularities in low voltage systems
• Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs performed, parts used, and system status updates

Skills

• Proven experience as a service technician with a focus on electronic equipment repair and maintenance
• Strong mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in handling hand tools for precise work
• Familiarity with computer hardware installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals effectively
• Experience working with low voltage electrical systems and safety protocols associated with them
• Skilled in using testing instruments such as ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical issues
• Knowledge of computer networking principles relevant to electronic system integration
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to troubleshooting complex issues
