Sit Down Forklift Driver

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Sitdown Forklift Driver to join our team. This role involves handling materials in a warehouse environment, including loading/unloading trucks, staging inventory, and supplying production lines. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, team-oriented, and capable of working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Sitdown forklifts and other material handling equipment safely.
• Load and unload trucks; verify and record quantities.
• Stage materials by date or lot code; supply production lines.
• Stretch wrap pallets and verify pallet tags and configurations.
• Maintain and charge electric forklifts at end of shift.
• Follow supervisor instructions and company regulations.
• Use hand trucks, hoists, conveyors, and other equipment.
• Work under direct supervision and report to a manager.

Qualifications

General:

• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the U.S.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of forklift experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Working Conditions

• Non-climate-controlled warehouse.
• Frequent walking, forklift operation, and occasional lifting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
