MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

Senior accountant Secures daily operation by approving payable transactions , analysing suppliers, custodians, and intermediate accounts, confirm with the suppliersnhancing pa payable cycle and support in audit requirements

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Revising and analyzing subcontractors' accounts (Accumulative progress, deductions, advanced payment balances and submitting for reducing their LGs)
• Responsible for the Iraq Project account and its related invoicing.
• Responsible for the revision of payroll and bonuses and the required transfers to banks.
• Staff loan revision, follow-up, and its settlement.
• Settling and revising traveling periderms.
• Participation in monthly, quarterly and yearly GL closing and correct posting errors by adjusting journal entries under instructions from section head
• Maintains financial records for subsidiary companies by analyzing balance sheets and general ledger accounts.
• AP and Payroll Entry on Comsys and Oracle.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION

Basic Requirements:

Qualification: (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Finance/IFRS Knowledge)

Related Field Experience: (Accounting – process enhancement – leadership)

Overall Experience: From 4 to 6 years of experience

Preferred Requirements:

• IFRS Knowledge
• High knowledge of ERP Application
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Time management
