We are looking for a Site Admin – Purchase who will be responsible for handling all purchase-related activities at the construction site, with a special focus on earthwork and mobilisation activities. The role involves coordinating with vendors, ensuring timely availability of materials and machinery, maintaining purchase records, and supporting smooth site operations during excavation and foundation stages.

Key ResponsibilitiesPurchase & Procurement

  • Handle site-level purchase of materials related to earthwork and initial mobilisation such as:
  • Soil / earth / sand / moorum
  • Excavators, JCBs, dumpers, tractors (on hire)
  • Diesel, lubricants, and consumables
  • Temporary site setup materials (barricading, tin sheets, lighting, etc.)
  • Obtain rate quotations from multiple vendors and assist management in finalisation.
  • Prepare purchase requests, comparative statements, and work orders as per company procedure.
  • Coordinate with HO / accounts team for PO approval and payment processing.

Earthwork & Mobilisation Coordination

  • Coordinate with earthwork contractors and machinery suppliers for timely mobilisation and demobilisation.
  • Track machine working hours, diesel consumption, and output (excavation / filling quantity).
  • Maintain daily records of:
  • Number of machines deployed
  • Manpower involved
  • Soil cutting / filling quantity
  • Ensure uninterrupted availability of resources during excavation and foundation work.

Vendor & Site Coordination

  • Maintain a vendor database for earthwork, transporters, and local suppliers.
  • Negotiate rates within approved limits.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, and contractors for material requirements.
  • Ensure materials are delivered as per quality, quantity, and timeline.

Documentation & Records

  • Maintain site purchase registers, delivery challans, bills, and measurement sheets.
  • Verify vendor bills with actual site usage before forwarding for payment.
  • Maintain stock and consumption records for earthwork materials and diesel.
  • Support audits and management reviews when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (Civil background preferred).
  • 2–5 years of experience in site administration or purchase at construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of earthwork, excavation, and mobilisation processes.
  • Knowledge of local vendor markets and rates.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word, email).
  • Ability to work under site conditions and handle multiple vendors.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
