Site and Design Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Site & Design Engineer – Solar Energy to manage and supervise solar power projects from installation through commissioning and after-sales support. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on field experience, particularly with hybrid solar systems, and the ability to oversee the complete execution of projects and system performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise on-site installation and commissioning of On-grid, Off-grid, and Hybrid solar systems. Experience with lithium battery, BMS configuration & Hybrid inverter installation & configurations.
• Ensure work is executed as per approved designs, safety standards, and quality requirements.
• Understand and review structural layouts and mounting designs for solar systems.
• Use and understand PVsyst for system analysis and SketchUp for layout / basic design coordination.
• Prepare and review BOQs (Bill of Quantities) for solar projects.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to technical specifications.
• Provide after-sales services, including system maintenance, fault diagnosis, and customer support.
• Ensure all field activities are carried out according to company SOPs and safety guidelines.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or DAE (Electrical / Electronics) – Mandatory.
• 1.5 to 2 years of hands-on field experience in solar energy projects.
• Ability to read and understand solar drawings and basic structural designs.
• Experience or working knowledge of PVsyst and SketchUp.
• Experience in preparing or understanding BOQs.
• Ability to work independently at project sites.
