Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in Building & Road Construction to manage and oversee our construction sites independently. The ideal candidate will be a Civil Engineer with excellent technical skills, particularly in AutoCAD, and a comprehensive knowledge of construction drawings. As a Site Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising all aspects of site operations, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Supervision: Manage construction activities on-site, ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Technical Oversight: Review and interpret construction drawings, ensuring that the project is built as per design specifications.
• Coordination & Scheduling: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other teams to ensure efficient workflow.
• Quality Control: Ensure that the quality of work meets the project's specifications and industry standards.
• Site Safety: Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and subcontractors.
• Documentation: Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and ensure proper documentation for inspections and approvals.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues on-site and provide immediate solutions to ensure minimal disruption to the project.
• Client Liaison: Liaise with clients, architects, and consultants as needed to provide progress updates and address concerns.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction projects (Building & Road).
• Skills:
• Strong command of AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge of construction drawings and their interpretation.
• Ability to manage a site independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• License & Transportation: Must have a VALID UAE Driving License and own car for site visits.
• Languages: Proficient in English (both written and spoken). Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Role and Reporting:

• Role: You will be the sole point of contact for the construction site and will manage all on-site operations. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
• Reporting: Directly report to the Project Manager and provide daily updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions.
