Site Civil Engineer

Job description:

Urban Habitat Architectural Consultants is seeking for civil Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in monitoring & controlling construction activities from initiation to closeout, ensuring adherence to project scope, specification & drawings, to be part of our team in the supervision department.

Job description:

• Conduct civil site inspections, as submitted by the contractors in concurrent projects.
• Coordinate between departments personnel, i.e the ID, the architectural, the MEP and the permitting, to get things done and approved in a fast-paced manner.
• Mentor the contractors to perform quality workmanship and resolve emerging problems & conflicts.
• Assist the projects director in the evaluation and issuance of contractor’s entitled monthly claims, and in responding to the contractors’ letters.
• Prepare and issue Site instructions, NCRs, & safety violation reports to the contractors upon regular site visits if needed and follow up with contractors to close all the issued reports.
• Report progress of work to the project’s director in a daily basis through proper communication channel.
• Confer & collaborate with clients’ representative personnel and assure fulfillment of their requirements without any delay.
• Study the variations upon submitting by the contractor and have them signed off by the project’s director.
• Archive all the project documents for potential use in the future by following the company procedures and norms.
• Study project drawings, specification & materials upon submitting by the contractor and get them fulfilled & approved.

Education:
bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

Requirements:
UAE driving license & a car.
