  • Oversee all on-site civil activities, including excavation, deep foundation (piling), structural framing, and concrete casting. For G+4 licenses, this includes specialized checks for multi-story structural elements like retaining walls.
  • Interpret and verify architectural and structural Shop Drawings, ensuring they align with Dubai Building Codes and the approved G-license limits.
  • Quality Assurance (QA/QC): Conduct regular site inspections to ensure materials and workmanship meet project specifications. Inspect rebar, formwork, and MEP integration before requesting DM approvals.
  • Project Documentation: Maintain daily site diaries, material submittals, and progress reports. Prepare and review Requests for Information (RFIs) and Variation Orders.
  • Safety Enforcement: Implement UAE safety regulations (e.g., Dubai Civil Defence and OSHAD) and ensure the use of safety equipment on-site.

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.

G+4: Often requires 5–7+ years of experience, including specific experience with multi-story buildings in Dubai.
