Job Purpose:
Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of civil construction activities on-site, ensuring that works are implemented in accordance with project specifications, drawings, safety standards, and time schedules.
Main job duties and responsibilities:

Execute civil works as per approved drawings, specifications, and timeframes.

Monitor and inspect on-site activities to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Coordinate with subcontractors and labor teams to ensure smooth workflow and proper sequencing of work.

Support in the preparation of work schedules, progress reports, and resource requirements.

Assist in resolving technical issues on site in coordination with the Senior Engineer and consultants.

Check formwork, rebar, and concrete works prior to casting to ensure compliance with approved plans.

Participate in inspections with consultants and clients and prepare related documentation.

Ensure all materials used and work performed are in accordance with project specifications.

Monitor material stock levels and report requirements to site management.

Assist in enforcing health and safety regulations on site.

Maintain organized records of site activities, drawings, and approvals.

Perform any additional tasks that might be necessary for easier workflow, within the main frame of the job’s specialty.
Job requirements:
Educational background and previous experience:

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (Master’s degree preferred).

Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering design, construction, and/or supervision.
