Site Civil Engineer cum Resident Engineer(Consultancy Background)

. Site Supervision & Monitoring

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities to ensure compliance with IFC drawings, approved plans, and method statements.
• Monitor contractor performance, workmanship, manpower allocation, and adherence to project timelines.
• Ensure all works are executed safely and meet the required quality standards.

2. Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate effectively with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders for smooth site operations.
• Review and comment on shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, and method statements.
• Maintain accurate documentation including daily site reports, inspection requests, progress reports, SORs, and NCRs.

3. Quality Control & Inspections

• Perform routine inspections for all civil works: excavation, foundation, concrete casting, steel reinforcement, blockwork, waterproofing, plastering, and finishing works.
• Verify all materials delivered to site comply with approved specifications and submittals.
• Issue Site Observation Reports (SOR) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) when required and follow up on corrective actions.

4. Authority Compliance

• Ensure all works comply with UAE building codes and relevant regulatory authority standards (DM, Trakhees, DCD, RTA, DEWA, etc.).
• Support in authority-related submissions, inspections, and obtaining necessary approvals.

5. Progress Monitoring

• Monitor contractor’s progress and verify progress claims against actual work completed on site.
• Identify project delays, constraints, and highlight issues to management with recommended corrective measures.

6. Health, Safety & Environmental Oversight

• Ensure strict compliance with project HSE requirements at all times.
• Report unsafe practices and coordinate with HSE officers to implement corrective actions.

7. Client & Consultant Interaction

• Attend site progress meetings with clients, main contractors, and other consultants.
• Prepare meeting minutes and ensure timely follow-up on assigned action items.

8. Technical Support

• Provide technical guidance related to civil and structural works.
• Review and resolve site discrepancies by coordinating with Senior Engineers and design teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
