Site Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Site Electrical Engineer to supervise and execute electrical works at project sites in compliance with ADNOC standards and construction requirements. The ideal candidate must have at least 7 years of relevant experience in construction/EPC projects and hands-on ADNOC project experience involving installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise all electrical installation and site execution activities in accordance with ADNOC standards, project specifications, and approved drawings.
  • Monitor daily site progress and ensure work quality meets required standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
  • Review electrical drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure proper implementation of method statements, ITPs, and QA/QC procedures.
  • Conduct inspections for electrical systems including LV/MV/HV systems, lighting, power distribution, grounding, cabling, and control systems.
  • Assist in testing and commissioning activities and ensure compliance with ADNOC protocols.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site progress reports.
  • Identify site issues and propose technical solutions to avoid delays.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and ADNOC safety requirements.
  • Monitor material deliveries and ensure availability of required electrical components on-site.
  • Participate in client/site meetings and provide updates on progress and technical issues.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in site electrical works within the construction/EPC/oil & gas sector.
  • Mandatory ADNOC project site experience, with strong knowledge of ADNOC standards and site procedures.
  • Experience in installation, site supervision, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and QA/QC processes.
  • Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.
