Site Electrical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for two experienced Site Electrical Engineers with 6 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the electrical installation, testing, and commissioning on-site. This role involves ensuring that electrical works are executed according to project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage electrical installation works on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and project teams to ensure that electrical works are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure quality and compliance with design documents.
• Assist in the preparation and review of electrical shop drawings, technical submittals, and material approvals.
• Ensure proper implementation of electrical work processes and project procedures.
• Provide technical support to the project team and assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Monitor the progress of electrical works and report any delays or issues to the project manager.
• Participate in the commissioning and testing of electrical systems.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports on electrical activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in site-based roles.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems (e.g., power distribution, lighting, cable trays).
• Proficient in using AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
• Good knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong teamwork and leadership skills.
