Site Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Site Electrical Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical works on-site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

Job Summary:

The Site Electrical Engineer will oversee daily electrical installation activities, ensure quality and safety compliance, and coordinate with subcontractors and other disciplines to achieve project milestones.

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise and monitor on-site electrical works and installations.

· Ensure electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

· Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

· Monitor work progress and report to the Project/Construction Manager.

· Ensure compliance with project quality standards and HSE requirements.

· Assist with inspections and testing in coordination with consultants and authorities.

· Identify technical issues and propose corrective actions.

· Ensure proper documentation of site activities and material usage.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

· Minimum of 3 years of total site experience.

· At least 1 year of experience in the UAE working as a Site Electrical Engineer.

· Good knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and site supervision.

· Familiarity with UAE electrical codes and standards.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

· Good communication and coordination skills.

· Proficiency in English; Arabic is an advantage.

· Having previous experience working in Abu Dhabi especially for governmental projects.

Valid UAE driving license is required.
