Position: Site Engineer (High-Rise Building Project)

Key Role & Summary

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring that all work is carried out according to design, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role involves close coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and the project management team to achieve smooth execution of the high-rise project.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
• Inspect work progress, quality of materials, and workmanship.
• Assist in preparing work schedules, monitoring progress, and reporting delays or issues.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on site.
• Verify and approve site measurements for subcontractor and supplier billing.
• Resolve site technical issues and provide solutions in coordination with senior engineers.
• Maintain proper documentation of site activities, inspections, and approvals.
• Ensure that quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) procedures are followed.
• Attend site meetings, progress reviews, and inspections with consultants and clients.
• Support in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Monitor use of materials and prevent wastage.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5–10 years of experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in high-rise building projects.
• Good understanding of structural, architectural, and MEP works.
• Familiarity with UAE building codes, Dubai Municipality regulations, and site practices.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
