Site Engineer

• Supervise all on-site construction including subcontractors, resolve day-to-day problems on the job site, and inspect all work during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications
• Respond with appropriate and necessary levels of construction supervision to provide quality assurance in accordance with contract documents
• Advise and assist the subcontractor on construction procedures
• Observe the safety procedures followed by the contractor and issue instructions as necessary to correct safety violations
• Ensure the availability of appropriate materials and tools
• Assist in the development of new project proposals including directing and preparing layouts
• Assist in the management of construction projects including overseeing the development of the detailed project drawings, interacting with subcontractors, administering sub-contracts
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s HSE&Q policies and procedures
• Ensure appropriate preparatory and protective measures are employed at all stages of the work by employees and subcontractors
• Arrange appropriate safety training for employees and subcontractors on site
• Prepare inspection and test plans for in-house projects and review the same submitted by the subcontractors
• Perform inspection of day-to-day activities and report to the Project Manager

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar field
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
