Site Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. The Site Engineer will work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineers to facilitate the successful execution of engineering tasks related to various projects, particularly in the areas of wastewater treatment and civil engineering.

Duties

• Collaborate with project management teams to develop project plans and schedules.
• Utilize software tools such as MicroStation, Revit, CAD, and Civil 3D for design and drafting tasks.
• Prepare and review engineering schematics and technical drawings.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Assist in the management of project budgets and timelines.
• Engage in problem-solving activities to address any issues that arise during construction.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Utilize GIS for mapping and spatial analysis relevant to project needs.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, including daily logs and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in engineering software including MicroStation, Revit, CAD, GIS, Civil 3D, and Mathcad.
• Experience in wastewater treatment projects is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of project management principles.
• Excellent mathematical skills for calculations related to engineering tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
