Skyland Horizons Real Estate Development is looking for a hands-on Site Engineer to represent the developer on-site and ensure construction works are executed with the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

This role is execution-driven and ideal for professionals who enjoy being on-site, solving real-time construction challenges, and acting as the developer’s eyes and ears throughout the project lifecycle.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision & Execution

• Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Supervise contractors and subcontractors to meet project schedules
• Identify site issues and escalate deviations promptly
• Attend site coordination and progress meetings
• Maintain daily site reports, photos, and progress logs

Quality Control

• Monitor workmanship quality per approved standards and consultant requirements
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and contractors
• Verify material usage against approved submittals
• Support closure of NCRs and quality-related observations

Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and site teams
• Liaise with Architectural, Structural, and MEP disciplines
• Provide regular site updates and execution feedback to the Senior Development Manager

Planning & Documentation Support

• Assist in tracking progress against the construction program
• Support technical verification of quantities and measurements
• Maintain site documentation, inspection requests, and correspondence
• Assist during snagging and handover stages

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Monitor compliance with HSE regulations and company safety policies
• Report unsafe practices, incidents, and near-misses
• Ensure contractors follow approved safety procedures

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 4–7 years total construction experience
• 2–4 years UAE experience preferred
• Experience in residential or commercial projects
• Contractor or PMC background acceptable

🧠 Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of civil and finishing works
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Knowledge of quality and safety standards
• Excellent site coordination and follow-up skills
• Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD & Primavera are an advantage
• Willingness to work full-time on site

• Valid UAE driving license (preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proactive, disciplined, and execution-oriented mindset

💼 Compensation & Benefits

• Salary: AED 8,000 – 10,000 (all-inclusive, based on experience)
• Medical insurance as per UAE Labor Law
