Job Description

We are seeking a Site Engineer (Electrical) to join one of our companies operating in the Energy, Technology, and Engineering sector, with a strong focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and energy infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all on-site electrical installation activities in compliance with project

specifications, international standards, and HSE requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage all electrical works at the construction site in accordance with approved project drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards
• Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of MV/LV systems, transformers, switchgear, control panels, lighting, earthing, and cabling systems
• Coordinate electrical activities with civil and mechanical disciplines to ensure seamless interdisciplinary execution
• Review electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, termination drawings, and method statements; identify and report any discrepancies or deviations
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work progress aligns with the approved project schedule and milestones
• Conduct daily site inspections and prepare detailed progress, inspection, and quality reports
• Control material deliveries, ensure proper storage on site, and verify installations against approved material submittals
• Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and energization activities under the supervision of the project management team
• Ensure all site activities comply with project HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies and procedures
• Maintain effective communication with head office engineering and procurement teams for technical clarifications and site requirements

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in site installation and supervision of electrical works within industrial or energy infrastructure projects (e.g., substations, power plants, BESS)
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD; experience with project planning tools (Primavera or MS Project) is an advantage
• Solid understanding of MV/LV systems, grounding, lighting, cable management, and protection systems
• Familiarity with relevant international standards (IEC, IEEE, EN, NFPA) and Turkish Electrical Regulations (TSE)
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute electrical drawings, BOQs, and installation procedures
• Experience with commissioning and pre-commissioning tests is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking, coordination, and communication skills
• Willingness to work on-site and travel when required
• Actively able to drive
• Resident in Ankara or willing to relocate
