Site Engineer

Location: Chennai (1 to 3 Years)

Diploma/ BE/ B.tech Civil

Reporting: Project Manager

The Site Engineer is responsible for managing on-site construction activities, ensuring that work is executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines while maintaining safety and coordination with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the project site
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and schedules
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers
• Monitor material usage, quality, and availability at site
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Prepare daily progress reports, work schedules, and site documentation
• Resolve technical issues and provide engineering solutions on-site
• Assist in quantity estimation, measurements, and billing
• Ensure adherence to project timelines and cost control
• Participate in site meetings and coordinate with the project management team
