Job Purpose

The Site Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all interior fit-out works at site with technical accuracy, quality, safety, and timely delivery.
He ensures that drawings, specifications, and standards are implemented correctly and supports the Project Manager in successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Execution

• Study drawings, BOQ, and specifications before execution
• Prepare site execution plan & work schedule
• Coordinate with Site Supervisor for daily work progress
• Ensure works are executed as per approved drawings

2. Quality Control

• Ensure workmanship meets Nestora quality standards
• Conduct inspections for carpentry, gypsum, electrical, plumbing, flooring, painting
• Rectify defects and ensure proper finishing

3. Material Management

• Prepare material requisition and monitor site stock
• Ensure right material at right time
• Control wastage and cost overruns

4. Labour & Vendor Management

• Coordinate contractors and labour teams
• Allocate daily work targets
• Monitor productivity

5. Technical & Measurement

• Take site measurements
• Prepare as-built drawings support
• Verify quantities for billing

6. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure safety practices at site
• Maintain site discipline and housekeeping
• Ensure statutory and client requirements are followed

7. Reporting & Coordination

• Submit daily / weekly progress reports
• Coordinate with designers, clients, and management
• Attend site meetings and review meetings

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / B.Tech / BE in Civil / Interior Engineering
• 1–3 years experience in commercial interiors / fit-out projects
• Strong technical knowledge of interior works
• Ability to read and interpret drawings
• Good communication & leadership skills
• Willing to travel between project sites
• Malayalam mandatory, English/Hindi preferred
