Site Engineer

Safeland Electromechanical L.L.C is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee and coordinate day-to-day site operations for our projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that installations conform to approved drawings, technical specifications, and local authorities' regulations while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise on-site execution of MEP systems and interior fit-outs to ensure work aligns with approved shop drawings.
• Coordinate effectively with main contractors, sub-contractors, consultants, and the internal design/estimation teams.
• Monitor daily progress, manage site labor and materials, and ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Inspect incoming materials on-site to verify technical compliance and quality before installation.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports, site diaries, and maintain accurate as-built records.
• Ensure strict adherence to site safety (HSE) protocols and quality control guidelines.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven site experience within the UAE fit-out or construction sectors.
• Skills: Proficient in reading technical layouts/CAD drawings; strong problem-solving and site-management abilities.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage site teams and interface with clients/consultants.
• Knowledge: Familiarity with Dubai municipality/local authority regulations and standard site safety practices.
