Key Responsibilities Site Engineering & Project Execution
- Supervise daily on-site civil works, including structural execution, concrete foundations, steel reinforcement, blockwork, and finishing, ensuring strict compliance with approved drawings and project specifications.
- Provide accurate setting out, leveling, and site measurements on-site.
- Coordinate directly with project managers, client representatives, and consultant architects (e.g., managing submissions, RFIs, and structural inspections).
- Supervise sub-contractors, site labor, and material deliveries, ensuring optimal productivity and strict quality control.
- Collaborate on material submittals and ensure compliance with Bahrain Ministry of Works standards where applicable.
HSE Leadership (NEBOSH Focus)
- Utilize your NEBOSH training to conduct comprehensive site risk assessments and prepare task-specific Method Statements (RAMS).
- Enforce continuous adherence to personal protective equipment (PPE) and clean-site protocols across all labor forces.
- Lead daily toolbox talks and instill a proactive safety culture on site.
- Conduct routine safety audits to immediately isolate and correct hazards, ensuring zero-compromise compliance with Bahrain’s occupational health and safety regulations.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
- Certification: NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) (Must be valid and active).
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of active, hands-on experience as a Site Engineer handling residential villas, luxury expansions, or commercial developments within Bahrain or the GCC.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in reading structural/architectural blueprints and utilizing AutoCAD.
- Local Knowledge: Strong familiarity with Bahrain’s construction regulations, Municipality guidelines, and CRPEP requirements is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a strong asset.
- Valid Bahrain Driving License is essential for travel between active project sites.
