Site Engineer (Civil)

Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and oversee construction projects, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.

- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design documents and safety standards.

- Prepare and review engineering plans, designs, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.

- Coordinate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that arise during the construction process.

- Perform calculations, analyze data, and compile reports regarding project status, costs, and timelines.

- Ensure all regulatory requirements and permits are obtained and maintained throughout the project lifecycle.

- Provide technical advice and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.

- Maintain accurate records of construction activities and prepare progress reports for management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in civil engineering, preferably within the construction industry.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software.

- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.

- Excellent project management and organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with stakeholders.

- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in UAE is preferred.
