SITE ENGINEER (CIVIL)

Key responsibilities

• Project oversight: Manage and supervise construction projects from start to finish, including site planning and technical execution.
• Technical guidance: Provide technical advice to subcontractors and construction personnel, and ensure work aligns with technical designs and drawings.
• Safety and compliance: Ensure all site activities adhere to safety regulations and are in compliance with building codes and legislation.
• Quality assurance: Oversee the quality of the construction work and ensure materials used match the project's specifications.
• Budget and schedule management: Monitor project progress to ensure it stays within the allocated budget and timeline.
• Coordination and communication: Liaise with clients, architects, contractors, and other professionals, and prepare site reports.
• Problem-solving: Address and solve technical problems and adapt to setbacks to keep the project on track.
• Resource management: Organize and oversee human and material resources on the construction site.
• Surveying: Conduct site surveys, including setting out, levelling, and surveying the site.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 3 years minimum experience in construction projects
• Specialization in concrete/precast/finishes/fit-out as applicable
