Site Engineer (Civil)

A Civil Engineer designs, plans, and oversees the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects such as roads, bridges, buildings, water systems, and dams. They ensure projects are safe, cost-effective, environmentally responsible, and completed on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan civil engineering projects using technical drawings and software
• Analyze survey reports, maps, and data to plan projects
• Supervise construction sites and ensure work follows design plans and safety standards
• Calculate costs, materials, and time requirements
• Ensure compliance with local, national, and environmental regulations
• Inspect completed projects for quality and safety
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers
• Prepare reports, proposals, and documentation

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Knowledge of engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D)
