Site Engineer (Civil)

Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Site Engineer (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) to manage and monitor on-site execution of projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating site activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, and supporting timely project completion while coordinating with the head office and contractors remotely.

Key Responsibilities

· Site Execution & Supervision

· Supervise day-to-day site activities as per approved drawings and specifications

· Ensure work execution is in line with project timelines and quality standards

· Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers

· Monitor material usage and report shortages or excess consumption

Technical & Engineering Duties

· Read, interpret, and implement drawings, technical specifications

· Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning (for mechanical/electrical roles)

· Identify site issues and suggest practical technical solutions

· Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and safety norms

Reporting & Coordination

· Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and material reports

· Coordinate with project managers and head office through calls, emails, and reports

· Maintain site records, measurements, and work completion data

· Support billing, measurements, and certification of work done

Eligibility & Requirements

Education

Diploma in Civil/ B.Tech in Civil

Experience

1–5 years of experience as a Site Engineer preferred

Freshers with strong technical knowledge and site exposure may apply

Skills & Competencies

· Good knowledge of site execution and coordination

· Ability to read drawings and understand technical specifications

· Strong communication and coordination skills

· Ability to work independently at remote project locations
